Sometimes, in certain pitches, things just don't add up. So again, in the interest of full disclosure, here's our thinking:
We knew this technique was eventually going to be the next 'wave' of 'how to make money'. It was only a matter of time.
BUT until we saw the wave approaching we decided to sit on the 'product project' and instead focus the time on building more curation sites and growing our existing sites.
(Not a case of 'sitting' on a secret method and trying to keep this all to ourselves. In fact there's no need for secrecy. Digital Curation looks like a BIG-ASS pie and there's room for plenty of smart people, who know what to do, to take their slice.)
Just a simple decision of time allocation. Make hay while the sun shines.
