Paisely Babylon is a proud part of the San Antonio psych/experimental scene. First active in Texas in 1994, Paisley Babylon agitated, bewildered, and finally thrilled audiences with a strangely hypnotic blend of surrealist sounds, ground-breaking electronica, and a few new wave flourishes here and there.

Ambient electronica can be inacessible, but Paisley Babylon combines familiar, traditional song structures with more outrageous Ennio Morricone-esque experimentation. Anyone who ever watched an Italian horror film or Spaghetti Western will find much to revel in here.

Today, Paisley Babylon is active in Chicago, infecting new audiences and creating a new legion of devoted listeners.
