WAYNE BOYER’S BIO
Wayne Boyer is an exceptional talent who has been performing since the age of 8. He is a consummate artist, singer, performer, producer, and arranger and a multi talented instrumentalist accomplished on trumpet, flugelhorn, piano and drums.
Music has been a way of life for him. At the age of 12, he was improvising jazz. By 13 he was playing in a band with a very young and talented Diane Schuur, and at 16, he was recruited into the renowned Mt. Hood “One o’clock Band”.
Following college, he arranged, recorded and worked with several noted artists, including
Jose Feliciano, Stanley Turrentine, Jimmy Smith, Patrick O’Hearn, Steven Bishop, Debbie Reynolds, Frankie Valli, The Platters, Frankie Avalon, Harvey Mason, John Patitucci, Plaz Johnson, Monte Budwig and Pete Jolly. He also served as the musical director for the Sonny Bono Film Festival in Palm Springs, as well as playing for Liza Minelli at the Betty Ford Center.
His talents have been utilized in television and cinema, and has scored music for Disney, N.B.C., Ford Motor, Zima, Simmons, musicals and film.
Wayne’s exceptional artistry is expressed in his newly released C.D. project, which he produced, arranged, composed, performed, and vocalized on, entitled “The Taste Of You” (Love Latin Style.)
