Overall, he put a lot of details into the PDF for the very small

#1 - for $7, you can't go wrong with this. Even if you're experienced, I'll wager you'll find a tip or trick or two that would make going through this product worth your while.
I also questioned the delivery of the product - a PDF that teaches how to do videos? But Nate has a very good point: it's hard to do a screen capture in Camtasia of yourself doing a screen capture in Camtasia. I don't know how; I saw Eben Pagan do it recently but he intimated that there was a little bit of a technical hurdle involved.
I digress. The PDF is a perfect medium for this report. The report isn't a step-by-step minutiae-laden how-to-install-and-run-whatever, but is an in-depth overview of the steps to build the types of sites that Nate says makes him money.
I have no reason to doubt that what he teaches is true. Yes, there are some new techniques that will help with traffic through better keyword rankings, but everything is very whitehat and above-board.
The report describes how to:
choose a niche
select keywords with certain characteristics
how to set up the site
the basics of how to create a video product and why you should
how to use Amazon S3 to store and serve your vids - something that I've wondered about but haven't taken the time to research. This alone was worth the price to me.
setting up the sales funnel
hows and whys of using an upsell

I got it and took a look at the pdf and really enjoyed it. Got a lot of really good nuggets that I didn't know otherwise. As a newbie I struggle with monetization of my sites.
