Stephen Yarbrough is Composer In Residence at the University of South Dakota where he has taught Theory/Composition for twenty four years. He has received many commissions, including the 2004 Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Symphony Orchestra''s American Residency Composer Commission for the State of South Dakota. His music has been performed by groups such as the National Symphony Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, the Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Dallas Youth Symphony, and many others.
