My songs are my prayers and this is the first offering. These 3 songs are inspired by the events of the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ and his followers during Holy Week. The songs will be the heart of an album titled “Arise”.
The songs take the listener along on an emotional roll-a coaster journey of scriptural events, influenced by the adventure of recovery along with a woman’s perspective. You will squirm, cry & perhaps dance.
Dear Friends in Christ,
Some years ago God placed on my heart a call to write contemporary scripture based music. I believe God works through music to reach His children.
It is my hope that the songs will be used both by individuals & in groups to promote & deepen faith.
I have included the scripture references as discussion points for each song knowing that many more are applicable.
If it be God’s will the full CD that includes 14 songs will be completed later this year & available before the Lent & Easter season 2008.
