Cavaliers began as the solo project of Lawrence, KS singer-songwriter, Stephen Wolfe. Wolfe formerly fronted the Lawrence, KS band, Getaway Driver, which enjoyed limited success through 2 self-released ep''s and a couple of US tours. Following the split of GD, Wolfe took some time off and began writing what would become the material for Cavaliers. Capable of assembling in many different combinations, Cavaliers have played locally with Conner, White Whale, The Belles, Black Christmas, and more. The band (live and/or in the studio) has featured members of The Only Children, Waking Ashland, The Get Up Kids, The Belles, Conner, Ghosty, Buffalo Saints, and The Roseline.
