The Rising Rebel album is for all my peoples who wanted more than just a taste of that GOLDENCHILD flavor heard on my previous works and audio clips from https://www.tradebit.com. Think of it as the prelude to my major label distributed project called "ESCAPE" due out next year.
While in the midst of recording "ESCAPE", I ran into a few talented musicians @ a rooftop party in Brooklyn (this summer) called GROW. While @ Grow, I was introduced to the band aptly titled THE GROW BAND. However, what I didn’t know was that they were uncomfortably working for a management company that never paid or gave them any recognition for there efforts. Thus after a few performances, we decided to form a roots reggae hip hop soul movement called "PLAN B". Once the band formed, I decided to add live instrumentation to my self produced works and began to record material for the collective.
After many months of performing all over the country with PLAN B, I realized that I was doing a disservice all my friends and fans that were awaiting a full length GOLDENCHILD project. Thus, here is some melodic mind food for you all to savor while I put the finishing touches on the "ESCAPE" release.. Ladies & Gentleman, I present to you "REBEL RISING"..
