Perfect Imbalance consists of Alex Khunprachansri and Brent Roberts, both native residents to Vancouver Washington. Most of the recordings you will find will either be a recording done entirely from the mind of Brent Roberts or Alex Khunprachansri.
Though they record apart from one another they play live shows together in a duo style fashion contrary to the full band sound that is present in their music. This adds a layer of challenge and strategy to creatively overcome the lack of backing musicians during an event.
They are currently releasing two albums, one roughly after the other. This is due to the fact that Alex Khunprachansri moved from Vancouver to Seattle to attend College The duo have been working on their seperate albums with input from the other, they are both working under the name perfect imbalance. They plan to create a true Perfect Imbalance collaborative effort in the future.
Oneironaut:
Essentially Oneironaut is Alex Khunprachansri''s first effort as an independant artist. It is not without its flaws but when you see past the technicality you start to reveal layers upon layers of potential. The entire album was built from the ground up by Alex, from the music to the artwork, with creative influence from Brent. The album was a total out of pocket expense on a college budget and is currently a limited release. There are only 250 in existence so grab yours while you can.
