Romulus Rex is a postmodern-rock quartet originally from Mount Desert Island, Maine. The group was formed in the spring of 2005, when all four members attended high school together. Since then they have released two albums, The Forest and their newest, Frequent Seas, as well as several unreleased live and studio recordings.

Romulus Rex is comprised of four strapping lads, Wells Bacon, Chris Doyle, David Palazola, and Fox Schwach.

Frequent Seas is the significantly mature follow-up to Romulus Rex''s critically acclaimed debut album, The Forest.
