"...starting to bleed." is my interpretation of everything I love about Hip Hop. East, west, north, south, or Honduran, I could care less about where it came from, HIP HOP!!!
Sometimes it''s aggressive and forceful, the rhymes coming relentlessly as if the MC is trying to come out of the speaker. Other times it''s relaxing and mellow, the MC just letting his tongue run for the fun of it. Always, the beat bumps but it''s the flow that makes it breath.
Many of the songs express anger towards those who abuse power to cover lies. Other songs are about letting the imagination run wild. None are about F#*@ing hoes, or flossing diamonds. ALL have enough bass to break your windows if you turn it up and NONE pull any punches lyrically, this is not lazy or politically-correct rhyming.
Every song on this album is artist produced, except for the 2 tracks co-produced with Cephas'' DJ, Superfly Brown, who has been Cephas'' friend for over 16 years. Every lyric on the album was written by Cephas, and with the exception of Superfly on one track, Cephas'' is the only voice you hear. Even the package art and liner notes (which include full uncensored lyrics) are all created by Cephas. This is HIS album and it is not about repetitive rhymes, guest stars, wimpy beats, or annoying skits.

This is an album for people who want passion in their music.

Look someplace else if you want stupid two line rhymes chanted over recycled beats.

THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE HIP HOP. THE HEADS WHO WANT THE MEANING AND THE FUN, PUT BACK IN THE RHYTHM AND THE RHYME.

... by the way, Cephas is not a stage name. The name on his birth certificate is Cephas James Mason. Nothing on this album is fake, or an act.
