American Velvet was originally established as a four piece in Austin, TX in 2002. After a short stint, they relocated to Omaha, NE and became a 5 piece. They then infected the midwest with their unpredictable live show, and mix of rock. After 100 shows and the release of their debut album "While You Slept" American Velvet took to the road. Seven Weeks on the East Coast, and 6,500 miles later. American Velvet will be in a nearby town with there follow-up tour in the summer.
