Details:
Jacqueline TaĂŻeb began her career as a singer and songwriter in 1967 and was voted Best Newcomer at the inaugural Midem music fair in Cannes for her hit song ''7 heures du matin''.

Since then, she has written and composed for famous French artists such as Yves Montand, Michel Fugain, and others.

In 1986 she discovered Dana Dawson, a 15 year old Afro-American singer, in New York, and wrote her the hit song Ready to Follow You.

Jacqueline has also written a musical film called Followers and the soundtracks for the films Eve of Destruction (with Philippe Sarde), Ras le coeur (with Michel Fugain),

Joyeuses colonies de vacances (with Mario D'' Alba), and Charlie'' s Party (UK ) .

Her singing career has been enjoying a revival recently as her songs are being compiled and playlisted all over the planet.

Jacqueline''s sixties songs, recorded in the best “swinging London” studios, have inspired the new musical generation including such artists as Little Rabbits, April March, Darktones, Hushpuppies, and Tahiti 80. Former Miss France, the beautiful Maréva Galanter, covered the songs 7 h du matin and On roule à 160.

Following on from her triumphal concert at Amsterdam’s rock temple Paradiso in September 2006, she embarked on a new adventure with the Amsterdam BeatClub, which includes some of the Netherlands’ finest pop musicians. The Amsterdam BeatClub is also a collective of cult deejays who spin un-beat-able cocktails of 50s and 60s sound, fat soul, horny Hammond organ, jump ´n jive, twist-a-go-go, sweaty ska, sensual erotica, rock ´n roll and tons of covers. Their parties are feasts of Retro Entertainment often with burlesque acts, go-go dancers, live bands and film projections. Musicians on the EP: Wilf Plum – drums, Marnix Krabbendam – guitar , Martin Draax – bass, Norbert Starink – organ, Ir. Vendermeulen – saxophones, Phantom Frank – guitar & sitar (on 2 tracks) Jean Paul Borgerding – percussion (on Juste un peu d´amour)
