As a PhD in Sciences and multi-instrumentist but mostly as a Renaissance man, Alejandro Ruiz always wanted to combine science with music. Science is cold and feelingless, but on contrary, music is emotional and full of life. They both need each other. How to musically describe scientific fenomena like the first aminoacid formation in the primordial soup, the wars between cells and viruses, the evolution of the first organic forms in the prehistoric endless seas, the evolution and the eternity of the chemical cycles, the appearance of the first apes, the man, the microscopes and telescopes?
This music came from different laboratories all over Spain, Portugal and France. Chemical reactions and mathematical equations were translated by Alejandro Ruiz into sounds to produce "Songs for the anemone" (the first chapter): the aqueous media...from molecules to the first organisms.
Now go and dive...deeper, into the prehistoric lifeless oceans.
