Hammer Down was formed in March ''05 when three old friends, Ray Josephs, Anthony Gelona and Phil Michaels, ran into each other at a club one night. Their conversation soon turned to music and what they had been up to band-wise. The answer was, not much. They made plans to get together and play just for fun. A year of Saturday jams later, they had 17 songs and decided it might be cool to record them. Having a hard time deciding which songs to record, the band finally settled on 14 out of the 17 songs. They headed over to Why Me? Recording in https://www.tradebit.comsey, and with long time friend Joe DeLuca at the console created "Spend It Like Money", a collection of bluesy hard rockin'' songs that exceeded their expectation''s.
