“Hell and High Water”, a song about the tragedy in New Orleans is sure to give you chills. Debbie has a deep love for the crescent city, having played there as a street musician in her teens and later returning to live a mile from the quarter.

Debbie has included on this CD, the song "Ash Tuesday", which stayed at number 1 in General Blues Category, internationally for 2 months. It features lead guitarist, Chad Lane, who was just 14 at the time!
The song was spurred by the tragic fires in Guthrie Oklahoma on September 29th 2000, when 40 homes burned to the ground. It serves to remind people that the split second decision to throw out a lit cigarette could and does cost people their lives! A record number of fires burned over 7 million acres that year. Debbie often reminds her audience “ Keep your ugly butt in the car. Use the ashtray”

Of special note, the song “Amazing Grace” features a violin that belonged to Debbie’s father, Val. He stopped playing music at the age of 12 in favor of playing basketball. Debbie inherited his violin many years later and when she restored the beautiful Stradivarius copy, it came right back to life and was heard for the first time in 75 years.
The violinist, Shawna Kennedy and Trish Henning were born the very same day and year and met while attending school. Their energy comes together beautifully.

Also, a guest appearance by chart breaking recording artists John Fiore and Bruce Elliott.
