This is the fourth CD we ever recorded. We made it in fourth year university before we had ever done any shows as "Splash''N Boots". 4 years and 2 more CD''s later we have decided to get it manufactured officially. The first song we ever wrote was Count-A-Roo...then Babababanana.

In the four years since the release of their 1st album,
Getting Our Feet Wet, Taes and Nick have been touring
Canada and internationally, from the East coast of PEI, the Stampede Saddledome in Calgary to the tropics of Bermuda. Summer of 2007 they are traveling across the world to perform in Australia’s top Children’s Festival. They have delighted thousands of children and families with over 300 shows in the last two years alone. The release of their 2nd studio album, Manatee Bay, in 2004 garnered them a huge following, several awards from
young people’s organizations, and a nod from the Toronto Star as “The Best in Children’s Entertainment!” Their 3rd album Popcorn, Pickles and Parrots has earned them an
iParenting “Best of The Best”audio award from the United States, as well as “Children’s Album of The Year” at this years Hamilton Music Awards.
They have recently released their first music video and are working on the pilot for their own television series.
Taes and Nick met in Kingston, while attending Queen’s University, and working in Children’s Theatre. Both coming from musical backgrounds, they developed Splash’N Boots
as a class project. The project flourished and upon graduation, Splash’N Boots went on the road. People were quick to realize that the rapid success of this duo was simple: they write and perform with adults and children in mind and they always treat children with the respect and intelligence they deserve. Their popular, high energy show is a direct result of the enthusiasm they have been receiving from their audiences. With skills and experience in children’s music, children’s theatre, and children’s writing, Taes and Nick are most comfortable making children laugh and smile.
Splash’N Boots are quickly establishing themselves in the children’s music scene and have recently won “Canadian Children’s Group Of The Year” at this years Independent Music Awards. Others nominated for this award include Robert Munsch and 3 time juno winner, Jack Grunsky.
The combination of their enthusiasm and genuine love for what they do has left families across Canada catching the Splash’N Boots wave.
