"SPIRIT''S GOT ME" is a CD of Contemporary Christian Jazz songs written by Chuck Graham and Ed Borsoi, a songwriting team in Central Florida. Chuck and Ed pride themselves on writing well-defined melodies and singable lyrics. The CD was recorded by The Holy Cats Band, a group consisting of piano, tenor sax, bass guitar, flute and drums and the vocals are performed by Jill Contrucci. There are a variety of sub-genres on the CD, such as blues, ragtime, waltz, and latin rhythm. These Christian songs would be at home in a coffee house or a cocktail lounge.
The songwriting team of Graham/Borsoi goes by the name of Grambosongs (you can visit their website at https://www.tradebit.com). Ed Borsoi was a Foreign Language professor at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and Chuck Graham was an periodontist in Orlando and Winter Park. They formed their music writing relationship in 2003 and have collaborated in writing many songs since then. "SPIRIT''S GOT ME" is their first CD and they are currently working on another effort.
