Matt Rector is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, among other things. At nearly 23 years old, Matt has released 3 solo albums in the past 10 years, as well as a live CD/DVD with his metal band Shedding Skin. He grew up in Marietta, Ga with his family and lived there until he was 16, at which time he moved to Washington DC. Over the years Matt has been in many bands, including Labelmaker, Hearsay, The AV Hedz, and his current and most successful band to date, Shedding Skin. The music he makes represents his life and everything that goes along with it, as he puts everything into his work. He has shared the stage with everyone from Mushroomhead to King''s X and lives for his music. Matt is currently working on a full length album with Shedding Skin, and has just finished his 4th solo album entitled "Stormy Forever", which is available to buy on myspace as well as other websites and stores.
