Miss Charlotte began her singing career as a talented 8 year old in 1993 when she sang the national anthem on the opening day of Little League baseball. Since that initial public performance, Miss Charlotte has been invited to sing for many different venues across the United States. When she sang the National Anthem at Spartan Stadium before a San Jose Clash soccer game, she was televised on ESPN, the sports channel.
While a student at Woodside High School, Miss Charlotte performed in all the musicals with major roles in “The Wizard of Oz” and “Grease.” She held the lead roles in “Guys and Dolls” and “On the Town,” ending her high school career with two smash hits.
Miss Charlotte has performed at numerous rodeos including the Cow Palace for the Grand National Rodeo. She has sung for Golden Gloves Boxing and at State and County Fairs. She performed for the opening ceremony at Merced Speedway, the Golden State Warriors at the Oakland Coliseum, and at SBC Park for the Emerald Bowl. She has opened for Sha Na Na at Feather Falls Casino and recently preformed at the Little Fox Theater in Redwood City.
In addition to individual performances, Miss Charlotte occasionally performs with The California Cowboys. Currently she is working with her own band directed by Randy McGowan. Miss Charlotte has won numerous singing competitions and has been publicly recognized for her performances in the Redwood City Almanac, The Redwood City Independent, and in the San Mateo Horseman Magazine. Her current goal is to earn a recording contract and go on tour. She has completed her debut album, West Coast Country Girl, which was release November 26, 2006. Miss Charlotte wrote seven of the ten songs on the album, including the title track.
Miss Charlotte is a class act with her beautiful voice, strong stage presence, and the ability to capture and connect with her audiences’ deepest emotions. Although only twenty-two, she is well on her way to stardom. The Palo Alto Daily called her the next “Little Miss Dynamite” referring to Brenda Lee. She is a gifted singer/songwriter that is dedicated and determined to make her dream a reality.
