Sonorous are a Scottish four piece from Dunfermline in Fife. For the last three years, the band has been working on their self-produced debut album, “A Series of Unanswered Questions”. Sonorous utilise guitars, loops, drums and synths, as well as a combination of male and female vocals to produce their trademark full, layered sound.
The band has drawn influence from many sources over the years including Death Cab for Cutie, Sigur Ros and Snow Patrol. The music is guitar based rock, at times approaching pop/rock but with a distinctly electronic edge. Featuring catchy upbeat vocal melodies and beautiful, soaring climaxes, the polished commercial sound of this album is testament to the effort and dedication that went into its production.
