MP3 Suburban Riot - Forgot How To Dance

Upbeat indie rock that employs remarkably catchy melodies, sixties rock influences and raw, sarcastic lyrics

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Punk-Pop, ROCK: Modern Rock

Details:
Suburban Riot began with singer Cameron Leahy, who recruited a few friends to start a band and play their middle school talent show in 2002. The group eventually disbanded, but Cameron continued writing songs and was eventually approached by Eric Jones (drums) in late 2004. Charlie Duda (guitar) and Tyler Oldfield (bass) were later added to complete the lineup.

Since then, Suburban Riot has been performing all over the Washington D.C. area to a growing audience. Their fast-paced rock employs remarkably catchy melodies, sixties rock influences (The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Who), along with modern influences (Weezer, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys) and a devastating live show that separates them from anything else around. Suburban Riot offers something fresh and unique in a time when most music has become routine.
