Clambake formed in 1994 in Bellingham, Washington as has been at the forefront of classic retro-rock ever since. Named after Elvis'' worst movie (founding member Jim Nauseam wanted to name the band "It Happened At The World''s Fair" but was outvoted) the band has crafted a distinct style, lyrically dynamite, often hilarious, and, sonically aggressive. You can hear tons of other bands in the music (Kinks, Stones, Love, Sonics) but won''t be able to exactly place the riff, the melody, or the lyric. Actually a music historian''s album and worth a listen for the rock music connoisseur.
