Slick was recorded live at Suite G in Seattle WA in October of 2003. The Combustion Collective''s music is all improvised - spontaneously composed and preformed on the fly. There are no overdubs and the hooks you hear are not previously rehearsed.

Our music is heavily funk focused. There is a solid groove that is the foundation and elements of jazz, rock, world, disco and blues are layered on to make a unique sound.
