Shelley was shown his first chords by his father at the tender age of ten. Always having a love for music it all fell into place on that one history making night watching the Ed Sullivan Show. He played all through high school, honing his chops and listening to all the great players of the day. In his early 20''s he left the traditional work force and hit the road with a band he helped form, and ended up spending the next five years working six nights a week through five states. That''s how it all started. Now we skip to the present. He and Dave were introduced by a mutual friend, and from the very first notes they both knew there was some serious voodoo goin'' on. So where does it go from here? Who knows!
Gary Vinson first picked up the guitar in the mid 60''s. There were four main influences early on, the British invasion, Dylan going electric, Hendrix and girls. Gary has played pedal steel, bass, lead, rhythm acoustic and electric guitar. For the new century he has picked up mandolin to broaden his horizons. Vinson has been a regular part of the Fort Worth music scene since he got out of High School, most notable the band Southbound, he was lead guitarist from 1979-1984. He says he has been in more bands than he can recall, but folks tell him he has had a good time.
