Cosa Buena Records is the brainchild of the aforementioned Ramon Perez Jimenez, known as Little Ray in the 60s when he was a teenage singing sensation. He is arguably the best singer/performer to emerge from a music scene which produced hit making artists such as The Premiers, The Blendells, Cannibal & the Headhunters, Thee Midniters (in which Little Ray was an original member), El Chicano, Tierra, and Los Lobos.
