Presenting, An Internet Marketing Strategy So Powerful That It Can Increase Your Conversion Rate By As Much As 400!

...And That's Just For Starters

Dearest Online Entrepreneur,

Allow me to share with you a way of doing Internet business.

Back in 2002, search engine optimization (SEO) emerged as the web's number one science. It became the key to bagging positions on the first page of relevant search engine results, in effect, resulting to more visitors, more leads, and more sales.

Online businessmen rushed to learn the intricacies of this new technique. They discovered proper ways of researching for keywords, on-page adjustments, and link building tactics.

Gone were the days when webmasters could just mention a particular keyword a million times and merge the font color with the background, a clever technique which was rendered obsolete by the dawn of the SEO age.

Fast forward to 2004.

What emerged as Internet marketing's newest darling?

Blogs.

Blog is a colloquial term for web log. It was meant to be some sort of an online diary where users could lodge their thoughts for the whole Internet to see.

But blogs, as online businessmen soon discovered, were more than that. They were simplified content management systems. They were tools that online users and search engine spiders surely loved!

Blogs quickly became Internet marketing's ultimate weapons. They helped generate millions of leads. They helped pre-sell thousands of products.

Fast forward to 2006.

What became the next step in the evolution of online commerce?

Enter the age of Web 2.0, a movement that seeks to empower users as the driving force of the World Wide Web.

Web 2.0 introduced user-driven systems where the determination of relevancy and usefulness depended on the thoughts of the users themselves. Social bookmarking, tags, casual suffrage, interactivity these became the trademarks of websites like Digg, StumbleUpon, https://www.tradebit.com, MySpace, YouTube, and the like.

These websites were the new kings of the Internet. One of them even generates 250 more traffic than Google, according to a reliable report published early in 2006.

Online businessmen raced to master the new avenues created by Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is the future, and the future is quickly arriving.

Fast forward to the here and now.

What's the next big thing that will capture the imagination of web users and propel the businesses of online entrepreneurs to the heights of sustainable success?

What's the next phase in the evolving history of the Internet and the growing embrace of Internet marketing?

What's the next big craze? What's the next thing that people will go gaga about?

What's the next step to take to elevate our online business to the next level of profitability?

Here's a quick answer...

Videos.
With most homes possessing fast Internet connections these days, digital videos have become a staple of content distribution methods. No longer are people content with what they can merely read, nowadays, most people want to actually SEE and HEAR the information that is being conveyed.

Remember before the advent of television sets? Radios were the norm back then. People tuned in to their favorite radio programs when they were on. They may be mere commentaries on the popular issues of the day, or a series of songs from their favorite performers, or even a serialized drama program presented with voices and sound effects.

Imagine settling for such a medium in this day and age.

Pretty unsatisfying, right?

It's because we have become accustomed to television and videogames and DVDs and the like. We can never settle for something that is older than the technology that has defined our generation, unless of course, it's for nostalgic purposes.

And this generation of online users has come to expect a lot. With data exchange rates now reaching blazing speeds that were once unheard of, people want their information delivered fast. And of the many mediums web publishers can use, videos are the most capable of delivering information at such an instantaneous rate.

In June 2005 alone - yes, just for that single month - more than 94,000,000 people in the US alone - yes, just for this single country - viewed online videos. Such a number represents a big 56 of the online users in America.

And these people did not just load up those videos quite casually. Each of them viewed an average of 73 minutes of footages within that month.

Why am I sharing with you this statistic?

Think of it this way...

Blogs convert visitors into customers.

Videos convert visitors into customers.

Blogs + Videos = what?

That's right!
Videos and video logs!
It's an online movement called video blogging. Videos are the hippest and freshest way to deliver online content to any audience. Blog entries don't cut it anymore.

People want to see what they want to learn.

People want to read what they want to learn.

Reading? That's a thing of the past. People don't want such inconvenience if faced with the option of being able to view and enjoy whatever it is they have come to experience.

In one particular interview, Brendon Sinclair, author of the Web Design Business Kit over at Sitepoint, said that:
"The video review converts at 3-4 times the rate of the text review. And I'd expect it to - I can provide so much more information via video through using graphs, graphics and audio (I can do that to an extent with the text page but not nearly so well) that really help me get my message across.."
Indeed, videos convert as much as 400 compared to conventional marketing mechanisms.

And why not?

Videos can boast the following advantages:

People respond more to videos. People act more on what they can see and hear rather than what they can merely read.

Online videos can give you and your business instant credibility. Your prospects will actually be able to see you, hear you. Also, the production values associated with an online video immediately give the impression that your business really means business!

Online videos can be delivered to a wide, wide market. No, they don't have to be rented out at a local video store or carried through the airwaves via expensive TV spots. Nowadays, most people have fast Internet connections, and they can immediately enjoy the videos you offer.

Videos are more efficient sales tools than any other digital mediums. You can clearly and efficiently convey whatever you want to share. Videos provide visual and auditory mediums which you can manipulate to present your ideas in the most efficient way possible.

Videos are known to be highly effective for casual online users who are quite hesitant when it comes to offers on the Internet. Since videos pack more credibility when compared to other mediums, they are more capable of winning the segment of a market that is generally considered as hard-to-get.

Videos allow a lot of liberty for creative expression. You are not limited to certain styles, or manners, or rules. Your imagination can run free and create the most memorable and exciting package that your viewers are sure to appreciate and enjoy.

And videos integrated with blogs?

There's only one word I can use to describe the marketing potential of such a merger...
WOW!
So, let me ask you this...

Have you tried videos?

Why not?

Let me guess...

It's because you don't know where or how to start? Indeed, this is what stops most of us from doing new things.
