Why Contrapalen?: We started with the name Resonance only to find out it was taken by at least 4 other bands. During our discussion of a new name, Contrapalen came up and we all liked it. It is a word we grew up with as our younger siblings couldn''t quite say "Contraption". It''s original and it also has our initials at the end ;-)
What type of music?: All kinds. We love all styles of music and have studied and play several. We''re on our quest to find the perfect mixture for ourselves. Hop aboard, it''s going to be a crazy ride.
