Andrew Hunter & The Gatherers are one of the top up and coming bands in Atlantic https://www.tradebit.comginally from Florenceville, New Brunswick, For the past nine years Andrew has been splitting his time living in Maui, Hawaii and Halifax,Nova Scotai. In March 2005, he decided it was time to move back to Halifax from Hawaii for good, in order to pursue his passion for music. In September 2006 Andrew released his first solo album, an acoustic collection called the “The Sunday Sessions,” which he wrote in the summer of 2005 in https://www.tradebit.comrtly after releasing his cd, followed by an acoustic tour of the Canadian Maritimes, Andrew recruited a bassist (Kevin Parnell) and drummer (Mat Budreski) to form what has now become Andrew Hunter & The Gatherers. They have recently completed the new album VICTORY AT SEA which was heavily influenced by experiences in both Halifax and Hawaii. Andrew draws inspiration from his surroundings in day to day life, surfing and the ocean. With a deal from DUCATI motorcycles to promote the band in it''s "Ducati Thunder Race Team" promo video feturing two tracks from the new record , a growing list of shows and plans to tour cross-country the future is looking bright for this high energy, passionate band. The songs "Old Man Winter" and "Movin''" recived some attention in the form of radio play and film placement in Coastal Swell Productions "Breaking Ice: The Birth of a Surf Culture".
