Longtime front man for The Lucky Strikes, Craig Marshall is now also pursuing a solo career focusing on writing and playing catchy guitar pop. The news is already spreading with an invitation to showcase at last Spring''s International Pop Overthrow in Chicago. His radio friendly cd, ''Popular Crimes'' was produced by fellow Austin popster Darin Murphy and features an impressive guest list including Tony Scalzo, Ron Flynt, and Jon Sanchez.

Craig has just completed a new cd for 2005 with producer/engineer Darwin Smith entitled "Before The Fadeaway". Set for a February release, this recording sounds great and has an exiting live feel. These are pop tunes but with plenty of rock spirit thanks to players such as Jon Notarthomas, Darin Murphy, John Thomasson, and Kyle Schneider.
