Born Divine the True N Living, known on the B-More streets as the Original Father of the Better Life Movement, started recording with local artists and producers after being released from prison in 1999. He began blazing microphones in the local Baltimore area and featuring on albums of local artists until 2002, where he was flown to Chicago to record with Uncrown City Records Artists. It was there that he linked up with some of Chi-towns illest underground emcees.
In 2005, Born Divine met Wu Tangs 10th General, Cappadonna. This meeting lead to future recordings, performances and touring with Cappa and Killah Priest. After gaining some stage credits with some of the East Coasts best emcees, he founded The Better Life Movement. Born Divine is featured on Cappadonnas next album The Cappatalize Project and The Transition; Cappadonna is also featured on Borns freshman release The Better Life Movement.
