Davinski''s music has soul, but not the kind you''d find at the Sacred Heart gospel Choir, the San Francisco-based church group that first convinced Davis to extend his vocal talents. It was 10 years ago that Davis --who had left a career as a salmon fisherman in his home town of Anchorage , Alaska-found his voice singing gospel music. Soon after he began experimenting with song writing, collaborating with singer/songwriter/producer Ryan Downe together they created "The River", Davis'' first album, which held a top 10 spot on Spin Records Internet sight for 6 months.
