This is the second newest release from Todd and Melanie Toews, following their debut worship album, Into the Holy.
This new album is an exciting project offering listeners 14 tracks of deeply powerful inner healing music.
Todd and Melanie believe that there is not one person who cannot relate to at least one song on this album. It was birthed from their personal experiences with the inevitable challenges life brings with it’s unavoidable hurts that affect us, either by other people or by unexpected events.
Dan’s Song, for example, is a beautiful testimony and cry of their heart for their precious son, who was miscarried early on. Healing comes when we face the wounds of our souls rather than running from them, and Todd and Melanie want you to know that you can trust in the faithfulness of God’s divine nature even if you cannot understand all of the why’s?.
There is much variety on this album, from soothing piano ballads to acoustic folk and pop mingled with violin, electric guitar and pure harmonies. There is spontaneous worship that takes place near the end of the album, similar to the first album.
