When asked about what separates him from the crowded field of singer/songwriters in a recent interview with Decent Xposure, David commented, "The field of singer-songwriters is full of so much talent...I think when most people hear the words singer and songwriter, they are drawn to an image of that "sensitive"musician. I guess I don''t really fit into this mold...I just don''t really write most of my songs about ex-girlfriends."
