Minister Splawn currently serves as an Associate Minister at New Hope Living Baptist Church, Steelton, Pennsylvania, Rev. John W. White, Sr., Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Scott A. White, Sr. (deceased), founder; New Converts Class instructor; Praise and Worship Team; and Director and organizer of “Women Walking in Victory” (WWV) an outreach ministry building the bridge to wholeness – meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of women throughout the body of Christ. She believes she is called to serve and nurture women of all walks of life.
Minister Splawn is also the founder of the Marriage Enrichment Class and the Intercessory prayer in her church. She believes that prayer is the key to the Kingdom. Minister Splawn is a 2004 graduate of Grace Bible Institute, where she received her Associates Degree in Theology. Minister Splawn has been an employee in the Pennsylvania Auditor Generals Office for 20 years, currently in the position of Audit Staff Assistant 2. She is a solo artist under the management of Melodies and More Recording Company where she has three recordings under the same label and is currently working on her fourth. She is also a Radio Announcer for Melodies and More Music Ministry; a member of Gospel Music Workshop of America, Announcers Guild; and The Scott White Family Singers of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Minister Splawn is married to Charles, her devoted husband and friend. Together they have six children (1 deceased) and nine grandchildren. She was born to the late Rev. Dr. Scott A. White Sr. and Mary E. White and she is one of 16 children (2 deceased).
Minister Splawn loves the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength and her greatest desire is to please God. Her favorite Scripture is Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for the good to them who love God to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Minister Splawn is a preacher, singer, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, wife and recording artist but most of all she is a worshipper.
