I (Don Q) was born in Plainfield, NJ. I''ve been deejayin, Producing and writing music since I was about 10.
I went to Institue of Audio research in N.Y. and majored in music at Rutgers University. I''ve worked with Lauryn Hill, The Outsiders, AB+ and just about everyone else who raps in New Jersey and has yet to make it.
I grew up on Hip-Hop and it became my first love in music. Sometime, a few years ago, it was tainted by corporate execs who made it into "Gangsta Rap"
I''ve always wanted someone to bring back true Hip-Hop, but it never happens. I then realized that I would have to be the one. That is how the Black Book came about. It''s only the beginning!!! Enjoy!!
