Doug Perry is a singing song writing drummer who worked in cincinnati and on the road with many styles of bands until forming his own, the Doug Perry ensemble in 1998. Having played on the same stage with johnny winter and buddy guy, Doug''s musical back ground ranges from blues to r+b to eastern european new age. This eclectic mix is the life blood of the music that he writes. Doug is also a visual artist. He has created paintings for his cd covers which continue the spirit of the art rock bands of the 70''s like yes and genesis.
