Details:
For over 12 years, GEEQUE has been a staple in the New York City TV scene with his hip-hop half-hour extravaganza, "Freak It Wit Da Fellaz." What started off as a small talk show that was formed with some of his high school friends has turned into a weekly powerhouse where well-known recording artists & entertainers stop through. From Nelly to Alicia Keys, Diddy to Akon, 100`s of guests have joined GEEQUE to kick it and promote their projects. All responsibilites... hosting, editing, producing & anything else... are handled by the Puerto Rican / Dominican phenom. With a loyal following behind him, GEEQUE is on a mission to make the transformation from TV personality to a hit-making hip hop superstar.

After listening to artists like Big L, De La Soul and B.I.G., GEEQUE began writing during his high school days in 1994. Shortly after, his MC name was born. "When I used to spit for people, they`d be like `you`re nice, what`s your MC name?` I didn`t have one at the time so I used to say `Good question.` After saying that enough, I took the first two letters of `Good question,` switched up the spelling a little bit for some originality, thus GEEQUE, my alias, was born."

As time went on, GEEQUE continued to perfect his craft, rhyming with some hip hop heavyweights in the process. That impressive list includes the likes of Joell Ortiz, Mike Jones, Guru, Keith Murray, PMD & JR Writer, as well as spitting for super-producer Swizz Beatz and DJ Absolute. At the young age of 19, he made an appearance on the popular radio program "The Wake-Up Show" hosted by Sway & Tech, impressing everyone in attendence. In 2004, GEEQUE placed in the finals in an unsigned MC contest sponsored by Scion, one that was judged by three respected individuals in the industry including super-producer Just Blaze.

After years of being on the grind and paying dues, GEEQUE dropped his debut mixtape, QUE YORK CITY, in July 2006. The first single, DUMB IT DOWN, got a tremendous response, mainly due to it''s clever mockery of the current state of mainstream hip hop. Over a club-friendly beat, GEEQUE talks about the cliches that seem neccessary to make a hot club song.

The video that accompanied DUMB IT DOWN made an even bigger impact. GEEQUE''s debut video was aired on the legendary hip-hop show "Video Music Box" and received spins throughout the US and even in Austrailia. In early 2007, with the buzz of the video gaining momentum, GEEQUE was voted into the quarterfinals of the https://www.tradebit.com contest by Nelly, The Game & Mark Pitts. GEEQUE has also received accolades from world-reknown DJ Green Lantern & hitmaker 9th Wonder. The song''s popularity also landed GEEQUE on the Ed Lover show on NYC''s Power 105.

In November 2007, GEEQUE released his first album, QUE YEAR''S DAY. With topics ranging from his struggle in the rap game to police brutality to his Latino culture, QUE YEAR''S DAY is the album hip-hop fans have been craving for in this time of monotony. With so many emotions on display, there is one theme that is present throughout the project. "My songs are the voice of the underdog," says QUE. "I don`t have 24-inch rims or a ten-bedroom crib. Neither does the average hip hop fan. Being that I`m rhyming about everyday struggles that many people encounter, the average dude can and will relate to me." With that being said, it''s time for us to celebrate QUE YEAR''S DAY.
