With life comes tragedy and through tragedy art is born. For John Mueller, an educator for over thirty years, tragedy struck his family in 1998. John turned to music for both its therapeutic value and as an escape.
Vincent Casucci is a drummer who faced his own tragedy in 2003, when he was told by doctors he would never play again.
The two came together on April 28, 2006 and joined musical forces to form Karton Herz (KHz). KHz performed for the first time on August 10, 2006 and have been playing regularly in Dutchess and Ulster counties ever since.
