Lisa Monet is a Parents’ Choice Gold Award recipient for "Circle Time", her first recording for families. Brimming with songs and rhymes for the very young, Circle Time is a hit with both kids and their grownups. It is a best-seller and a long-time favorite in schools, libraries, and communities across the country.

Named one of the "Five Leading Ladies of Children''s Music" by Billboard, Lisa Monet has a new CD released this season for kids and families: "Tingaleyo", her first bilingual collection of songs in Spanish and English.
Four more albums round out the collection: "Jump Down",(Circle Time II), "My Best Friend", "Christmas Pie", and "Chiqui Chiqui Cha". These four are currently being re-issued and will be available on CD Baby soon. Each CD features Monet’s pure vocals, lush harmonies, bright guitars and dancing percussion.
The independent production company for these recordings, Circle Sound Productions, is a family business: her husband Rick St. Charles, has engineered and performed on all her albums in their home studio. Their daughter Genny St. Charles-Monet, a graduate of the Arcata Arts Institute, is the graphic artist of the cover and inserts for Tingaleyo, and son Matt St. Charles, director of feature films, is the technical consultant for Tingaleyo.
A best-selling artist on the Music for Little People label, Monet credits two schools in northern California for inspiring much of her material. Merilee Owen, Director of Children of the Redwoods Center prompted the first recording and did the original cover art. The Spanish Immersion staff at Morris Elementary School in McKinleyville, planted the seeds for her current focus: bilingual music programs for families in Spanish and English.
A credentialed teacher, she travels throughout the Pacific Northwest bringing bilingual music programs to schools, libraries, festivals, and other venues.
