My style is Smooth Jazz with strong World Beat/New Age textures. I''ve been influenced a lot by Shadowfax, David Sylvian and Chicago.
I''ve been listening a lot lately to Portuguese singer Mariza (her song ''Meu Fado'' is my favorite), Andy Summers of The Police, Uman, Gary Willis, B-Tribe and also to Oystein Sevag.
On some of the tunes on this album I''m using the trombone as the lead instrument which works quite well on top of those strong grooves. I was forced into learning the trombone in my teens by my brother, Flick, who also has CDs on CD Baby. I''m very pleased to present this collection of songs to you.
I hope you enjoy the music I''ve created.
