- "... guest has demonstrated his great masterly".
Margit Dressel, "Meininger Tageblatt", Germany; review "Meister an der Orgel".

- “Performing famous Toccata and Fugue by Bach, Tchulovsky use the full tone, but not sharp, not with effect, when public feels that “the ear-drums is cracked”. Playing rhapsodic passages he keeps the discipline of sounds and performs this piece not academically, but on “Bach-suitable” manner”.
Dr Uta Ziegner, “Thuringer Allgemeine”, Germany; review of recital, given by Tchulovsky on BACH-ORGAN in Divi Blasii, Muhlhausen in 2005; transl. from German

- “That was a brilliant and very accessible to public performance; Prelude and Fugue by Johann Sebastian Bach sounded with majesty”.
Regina Arbouw, The Netherlands; review of recital, given by Tchulovsky in 2000 on the historical organ, restored by Flentrop, in Zuidekerk, Enkhuizen; transl. from Dutch.

- “Tchulovsky organ recital has caused admiration of public”.

The UK based recital organist and composer Andrej Tchulovsky (Chulovsky, Chulovskiy, Tschulowskij) is internationally renowned musician. It is not difficult to find in playing of Tchulovsky the continuity of organ tradition, which is going from Bach himself: Tchulovsky is pupil of Prof Larissa Bulava, who studied the organ in Leipzig Hochschule in class of Wolfgang Schetelich, who was a pupil of Ander Donat, organist of Frauenkirche of Dresden (the line, followed from Bach to Ander Donat is explored now very well).

Tchulovsky was born in 1953 in Omsk, Siberia, where he attended music school (class of O. Semyonova - pupil of the famous Esipova). Andrej studied piano at the St Petersburg Conservatoire with Professors Boris Lysenko and Nathan Perelman, and organ at the Latvian Conservatoire (Riga) with Professors https://www.tradebit.comolnieks and https://www.tradebit.comava. He then went on to post graduate studies at the Moscow Conservatoire with Professor https://www.tradebit.comsmann, where he composed some pieces for organ. Prior to this he taught piano at the https://www.tradebit.combalin Music College in Omsk, followed by a professorship in organ and piano at the https://www.tradebit.comnka State Conservatoire (Academy) in Novosibirsk (1991-1998) – one of the 3 most prestigious conservatoires in Russia. Many of his former pupils are now pursuing international careers across the world. By the way, Sauer organ (52 stops) has been installed also in the Grand Hall of the
Novosibirsk conservatoire, and Prof Johann Ernst Koehler from Weimar (he was organist of https://www.tradebit.comer & Paul church where Bach composed his main organ works) played on the Inauguration of this organ. Then Andrey Tchulovsky and his pupils organized in Novosibirsk the big concert cycle “J.S. Bach: all organ works” – Tchulovsky was that time a Head of the Siberian Organ Art Center.

Tchulovsky has a wide and interesting organ repertoire, German press often calls him “Master of the organ”, “Organ Virtuoso”; he is known internationally, having performances not only in his native Russia (Grand and Small Halls of the Moscow conservatoire, Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Capella), but also in England, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Switzerland, and Ukraine. He often give recitals in the churches, which has been connected with life and work of great composers -- https://www.tradebit.comh, M. Reger, https://www.tradebit.comhelbel,
https://www.tradebit.comelink and others, playing on the great historical organs (such as Walcker-organ of Riga DOM-cathedral, Silbermann-organs, Reger’s organ in Meiningen, Ladegast organ in Ronneburg, where Ander Donat was organist a long time after the World War II, etc.). As a recitalist Tchulovsky has performed at international music festivals in many countries as well as playing with well-known symphony orchestras, and working with renowned soloists
(both instrumental and vocal) – including performances of his own works. He has composed works for piano, organ, symphony orchestra, brass band, choir and solo voice.
He lives in the UK now and the composition is the main sphere of his creative activity during the last years: he gets inspiration from the roots of British history and culture, also Welsh scenery and natural beauty and the traditions of Anglican church music.
