Bamboojuice is a Rock band based in London.
Bamboojuice was reborn in 2006, orginally formed at the turn of the millennium. Having gone through several line-up changes (4 bass players in total) and a brief sabbatical owing to one members journey to India for a couple of years, the passing of time has done much to fuse the band, its music and its conviction together.
Bamboojuice is quickly building a reputation for delivering electrifying live gigs, gaining them a growing and solid fanbase who return time and again to witness another energetic performance. A trademark feature of the live shows is the bands amicable demand for no less than total participation and commune from their audience.
The individual members bring their own distinct flavours to the musical table; drawing from Classical, Heavy metal, Acoustic, Blues and Rock influences melding together to produce a sound that is Grungy but also soulfully melodic.
The choruses have hooks designed to pull the ears in, while the beat and bass-lines throb away to give off a danceable vibe.
Two Bamboojuice tracks (Liz, Scared of Heights) reached the semi-finals of the 2007 UK Songwriting competition out of 5,000 entries. All this, combined with blood & guts live performances, a new slew of freshly recorded studio tracks and a recent gig supporting "Solewire" (Azimuth Records NYC) during their recent London tour, have won them a rapidly increasing fanbase.
