Singer Monty Leach formed Driver after playing in various club bands including Juice and Ritual Bridge, always with a hand in writing and performing original music. It wasn''t until Driver that the guitar became an integral part of his work.
Bassist Randy Marcantoni has been performing professionally since age fifteen. Writing and performing original music has always been a major part of his career. Some previous efforts were Shotgun Wedding with Fuel member Kevin Miller, Gandalf and Nathan Lee. It was in Ritual Bridge, however, that Randy first met up with Leach. Armed with his 5 string Artinger bass, he anchors the band with aggressive rhythms, loses himself in harmonies, and weaves in and out of melodies.
Guitarist Kevin Bowyer also has been playing on stages since his teens. He studied under Shrapnel Records recording artist Greg Howe. Kevin doesn''t settle for the norm when he writes his parts, but looks to be integrated into the music and to speak to the song at hand.
Never satisfied with following trends, Driver has a sound that is refreshingly original, influenced by many, driven by a singular vision. Driver''s most notable accomplishments:

Driver continues to support their debut self-titled CD doing limited engagements that fit their style and their show. In addition they are currently in the studio working on the second CD due to be released Fall 2002.
