Jill Deering, is a 24 year old singer songwriter from Leixlip, Co Kildare. Ireland. Studied Graphic Design in Art College (NCAD) but her first love being music spent all her spare time playing and gigging any chance she got. During 2003/04 she formed a band called ''Jelico''. and entered battle of the band
competitions and continued gigging around Dublin, recorded two
songs for a demo track ''Time'' and ''Break My Every Move'' and by self promotion, did an in store gig in Tower records on Wicklow st and released the demo. That
summer, Jelico headed to London and played in places like the BBC, The Bedford,
Cafe 12 and The Tate Modern. In September 2005, left London and continued under her own name playing Dublin venues, Whelan’s and The Sugar Club. Jill, along with her new Band is now gigging again in Dublin, around Ireland and the UK to promote her recently recorded EP.
