JD has played music all her life – 1st with her brothers & sisters – JD''s first gig was at a Nursing Home at age 12. Since then she has lived and gone to school in Northern California, Paris and currently works and resides in Connecticut. JD has an original sound, heart felt lyrics, beautiful melodies, and a great variety to her songs. Folk-pop, folk- rock is the description but there is plenty of rock (and even some country) influence including Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Green Day, Emmylou Harris & Joan Jett.
