Genesis was originally created as an intro to Eric Wheelwright’s CD “Journey, The Story of Life”. However, when world-renowned voice actor and radio personality “Gerald McBride”, asked Eric Wheelwright if he could get a copy of the song with a different intro, Eric Wheelwright decided to remix the song all together, utilizing the incredible talents of Norma Jean Bell on saxophone.
The new version came out so phenomenally that Norma Jean Bells record label requested that she and Eric Wheelwright collaborate on other projects. Unfortunately, neither of them could seem to find the time to come together. Now sources say that they have finally begun working on Eric Wheelwright’s newest project “The Journey, Continues”.
Since the new remix of Genesis has surfaced, the original version will only be made available on the original “Journey, The Story Of Life” CD as any reorders of the CD will include the newest version of Genesis. The Original CD will become a collectors item as Wheelwright’s label decided to press up only 1000 copies of the original “Journey, The Story of Life” CD once they heard the new version of Genesis.
