Hey guys, thanks for coming to my site! I was born in Chicago, and fed, like many of my generation, a heavy dosage of classic rock and blues, as well as folk and jazz. I was living in Ann Arbor, MI, during college and now am settling in L.A. The songs on here now are stuff some of my friends and I have been recording a new album for the last four months or so. It''s a blend of stomp blues and folky swing stuff with some straight blues and some quieter harmony-based tunes. We''ve been working really hard on on it and I hope you enjoy it! On the new album are a plethora of wonderful local Ann Arbor, MI musicians we call "the royal family"-- they include (but are not limited to) --Sara Curtin and Theo Katzman on backup vocals, Mark Swiderski on vocals, glockenspiel and percussion, Christian Carpenter on standup bass, Gary Prince on guitars, Tom Goss on harmonica, washboard and spoons and several others. It has been a truly collaborative process and with the help of their talents my songs have a bit more, let''s say, balls behind them. Mark Swiderski has spent much time mixing and recording all of us and I owe him alot for getting this all together.
