Details:
Alex Colvin was born in Manhattan but moved west as a child and grew up in California and Montana. After attending the University of Washington for several years he quit school and hitchhiked around the country playing music and exploring life. Eventually he settled down in Maryland where he continued his education and worked for a time as a writer, event organizer, and consultant for several non-profit organizations. Since completing his MA in Communications Design at University of Baltimore in 2000, he has dedicated himself to poetry and songwriting. Alex and his wife Linda currently live half the year in Maryland and half the year in the Cascade Mountains in Northern California.
