Singer/Songwriter Gregory Paul Valdez (Greg) is a native of Albuquerque, NM and has been active in the New Mexico music community for more than 15 years, playing with a variety of professional bands in various professional venues. He began playing guitar at the age of 13. Within a year he had formed a band which went on to perform at his high school’s annual talent show. By the age of 15, Greg began to fully immerse himself within the Albuquerque music scene. He began performing at parties and at other social functions. By the time Greg celebrated his 16th birthday, he had played in a nightclub for the first time.
Greg’s versatile guitar playing and harmony vocals have landed him spots in many high-profile bands over the years. It has also made him highly-sought after as a fill-in guitarist. One of Greg’s notable talents is his ability to switch back-and-forth from electric to acoustic in his live performances. As such, Greg is also known for putting on a great all-acoustic show.
Greg incorporates his faith as a Christian into everything he does, especially in the music he plays. He mixes genres of contemporary Christian and Christian Rock music creating a sound he can call his own. His inspiration to create music comes from his faith in God, his interest in diverse genre''s of music, and from inspiring Christian Rock artists. Greg is a multi-talented musician who also plays lead, rhythm, electric and acoustic guitar throughout his music
